The Formulation Process
Ingredient Sourcing
Every material is chosen for its behaviour in the blend, not its story. We select for purity, consistency between batches, and how a note holds its shape as a fragrance dries down.
Molecular Analysis
Each batch is assessed before it enters a formula — purity, strength, and whether the olfactory profile matches the batch before it. Consistency is the hardest part of perfumery, and the least discussed.
Formula Development
Our perfumer works iteratively — sometimes across 30+ revisions — to achieve the exact balance of top, heart, and base notes. Each revision is tested across time and temperature.
Atelier Production
Final formulas are produced in-house, in limited batches. Hand-filled, hand-labelled, hand-packed. No production line. No compromise.
